The 13th edition of the International Conference on Wood Science and Engineering in the Third Millennium (ICWSE 2023) took place in Brasov, Romania, hosted by Transilvania University. The event brought together researchers, academics, and industry professionals to explore the latest developments in wood science, technology, and innovation.

Among the contributions, the ECOREFIBRE project was presented, showcasing its research on recycling post-consumer wood for the production of new fibreboard. The project aligns with the conference’s focus on sustainable use of wood resources and circular approaches in wood-based industries.
