Bangor, Wales – 19–22 June 2023
The 30th International Panel Products Symposium (IPPS) was held at Bangor University, gathering researchers and industry professionals from the wood-based panel sector. Organised by the BioComposites Centre, the event offered three days of presentations, networking, and technical sessions.

The EcoReFibre project was featured during the programme on Wednesday, 21 June, with a presentation titled “EcoReFibre: Making new fibreboard from post-consumer wood”. The talk was delivered by Prof. Andreja Kutnar and colleagues from the InnoRenew CoE, showcasing the project’s goals and progress in developing circular solutions for reusing fibre from end-of-life wood products.

The event also included 30 presentations, a welcome reception at Bangor University’s PJ Hall, and a conference dinner at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis.
